This is HIBISCUS, the debut collection from designer and showgirl Carley Hague, alongside creative director, stylist and gliterati event planner Liz Mendez.
Having already collaborated on making flash luxe costumes for the podium dancers in Ibiza at DC10, Pacha and Amnesia, the founders have drawn on their combined experience at the forefront of clubland, fashion and performance art to create a dazzling capsule of gender fluid garments for the party, the after party and more than likely, the party after that.
The moniker of our brand is a tribute to the drag artist, actor and counter culture icon, Hibiscus, George Edgerly Haris III , founder of The Cockettes, the infamous 1970s psychedelic gay liberation theatre in SanFrancisco.
This is a celebratory collection – A celebration of art, style, the stage, the dance floor..and yourself.
